My name is Evelyne and I'm passionate about history. The history of the world, the history of peoples, the history of men. For several years now, I've been making fascinating encounters while transporting young and old, men and women in my coach, whether in their daily activities or on exceptional excursions; but also during trips around the world.

What motivates me in Jubilee Voyages today is a deep conviction that travel connects people through unique exchanges. It allows you to learn about a history, a place, a culture...

I grew up in a home for missionaries in transit to Africa, Asia and Latin America. I was lulled to sleep by their life stories, as well as those told to me by my mother before bedtime.

They gave me a taste for travel, as I myself have traveled to nearly 30 countries, learning languages and soaking up cultures and the richness of differences.

My grandparents escaped the Armenian genocide in 1915. Their Christian faith and refusal of Islamization were the cause. Living in exile and uprooted, my family learned to forgive without holding on to rancor or hatred.

Originally from the Valence region (Drôme), I discovered the story of the Huguenot Protestants, a people who were persecuted for their faith and resisted. Today, they offer us an encouragement to stand firm and an example of resilience.

This became like a mission for me: I had to share what I was discovering and make it available to others. I'm delighted to be able to welcome people from all over the world who want to discover what their Huguenot ancestors experienced, or who want to know more about these French heroes. I've quickly been blown away by the effect these stories have on the people I take on my adventures.

After 15 years spent in different parts of the world, I returned to my native region to fulfill a simple but meaningful dream: driving coaches. I wanted to enjoy the scenery, enrich myself through relationships and sharing, smile and encourage, accompany people towards a daily routine or a discovery, see others marvel, learn... And finally, Jubilee Voyages fits perfectly into this adventure.

Every day, just opposite our house, I admire a field of apricot trees with the Vercors mountains in the background. I revel in the region's bounty of flowers, lakes and mountains, all of which I've fallen in love with. And even though I'm passionate about my work, you'll often find me in the kitchen, where I enjoy concocting gourmet meals for my husband, family and friends.
