Program

FIRST ACT: TRABUC CAVE

Immerse yourself in an authentic and unspoiled mineral paradise. Step inside the cave and follow the water's path through nature. Imagine this drop of water as a Huguenot who traveled a path while having to hide in a cave to escape persecution.

SECOND ACT: DESERT MUSEUM

In the heart of a Cévennes hamlet, in the birthplace of the Camisard leader Rolland, through authentic pieces and documents which bear witness to the resistance of the Huguenots for their freedom of conscience, the Musée du Désert brings the Huguenot past and the history of the Camisards back to life.

Dinner : Meal tray

THIRD ACT: “EXILES, FROM THE CÉVENNES TO THE AMERICAS”

EXILS is inspired by the story of one of these refugee families from the Cévennes who refused to recant and fled to the Land of Refuge. She was one of the 200,000 Huguenots who left the kingdom for a new land.
